Child custody, question about mediation?

The father of my child and I had a mediation appointment two days ago. He didnt show up and I did show up. What will the judge most likely say? I asked the lady in the mediation room that what would happen if the father didnt show up and she said that it will be up to the judge. What do you think though? My daughter is 9months and we live in the San Bernardino County.
