It's summer festival time. Look into which ones are going on when you are planning to be there. You could hit all the usual tourist sights: Cable Cars, Fisherman's Wharf, China Town, the Ocean at Ocean Beach, Coit Tower, walk or bike across the Golden Gate bridge, take a ferry tour of the Bay or ride it to Sausalito or Tiburon and have lunch over there. Dr do the Alcatraz tour. That one's kind of fun. Good shopping too. You might want to take some side trips to Napa or Sonoma for wine tasting or just the beauty of the areas...Drive up or down the actual coast Highway, stop at some beaches (some of which are nude), eat good food, shop, attend fairs and festivals and maybe a concert, opera or play, depending on your finances and interests. Maybe take a walking tour of parts of the city. The East Bay where Berkeley is, has some worth, as well. Observatory and even just taking a $0.25 ride up the elevator to the top of UC Berkeley Campus' Campanile to get a great view of the Bay and San Francisco from above, in the hills. Can you be over drawn from savings account?

I had a checking and savings account with a bank. When I moved to a different town I closed my checking and just left my savings, the town didn't have my old bank locally, and I didn't want to drive an hour just to do my banking. I took everything out of savings except for $1. Well years later I come to find out that supposedly I have over drawn in my savings account.... I am very confused on this, because I don't have a debit card or any payments that would have had the savings account. Why am I getting faster speeds from servers further away from me?

So I was fooling around in the Speed Test app for android. While checking my current speeds from the server in Morristown, TN (the closest to my actual city: Knoxville, TN), it clocked me at about 2.80mbps download/ 0.79 upload. Knowing this wasn't correct, I switched the server in the settings of the app to Nashville, TN. That shot me up to the speed it feels like I'm actually at: 9.98mbps download/ 6.67 upload. However, I switched it to one up in Michigan (just messing around, of course) and got a whopping 14.69mbps dl/ 10.19 up.. Why is it doing this? Is there a way I can actually change my server? I'd like to pull those high speeds. I'm on a MyTouch 4G.

I work full time and do not wish to attend a university with a bad reputation like Devry or UOP. I wish to finish a bachelor degree in business. After careful consideration I have narrowed down my choices to either Golden Gate University or National University. National University has a campus in San Jose where I live and Golden Gate University is in SF. Both offer online courses but with GGU I will have to commute to SF periodically to sell my used textbooks. I do not mind this at all. My question is more about National University, are they a well respected University and will employers view a business degree from NU as legitamate? I have already considered San Jose City College and understand that it would be cheaper but will take quite a bit longer. I am 26 years old and wish to have my degree finished at least by 31. Anyone go to either university? Anyone graduate from either University? Is NU as respected as GGU? Both schools are accreditated by the WASC, this is partly why I am considering them. Knoxville weather for a college student?

Cool! I'll be 2 hours away from Knoxville for college. Well typically it starts getting cold in late September or early October. A lot of times our weather is really tricky, and during the time we are changing from summer to fall, the weather may be scorching hot some days and really cool the next day. Up until Thanksgiving break you probably will need some sweaters and jackets. Maybe a couple coats, depending on how cold you get easily. I'm girly and i don't get cold easily so I usually wear long boots,skirt,stockings,and a sweater shirt with a light jacket all fall and winter long. I wasn't even freezing when it snowed.Good luck!

It depends in part on what you plan to do, because people do dress up to go to bars and restaurants (not super-high heels, they don't work on steep streets unless you plan just to get in and out of a taxi or limo). For just hanging around and sightseeing, athletic shoes and closed-toed casual shoes are the most popular. No flip-flops, and a minimum of sandals, because SF is not Southern California -- it is colder and more formal.

I would presume that UTK operates much like any city. If you don't pay, eventually your ticket will be reported either to a collection agency or to the state. If it goes to a collection agency, it will cost a lot more and end up on your credit report. If it goes to the state, they will suspend your driver's license. Attorney not communicating?

My attorney had not respond to my phone calls for 4 months of leaving messages. Finally I called someone from the office he worked at yesterday that inform me he was no longer there and had moved out of state. I took the advice of a yahoo responder and left a message stating "If I did not hear from him within 24 hrs I would contact the Bar Board " . Well, today I did receive a call from him and he sounded apologeticl and had his reason for not getting back with me for example that he has started a family, his phone calls not being forwarded by the office he left, and his mail not being forwarded. He assured me that he still come to my state to handle his cases and it would have no affect on my workers comp case or prolong it. Not forsure if I am 100% convince on what I was told. If so does it cause it problems regarding resolving issue that may arise? Should I have my file transfer to someone locally or would this make my case drag out longer. In my opinion, every Metal Gear Solid game (2 & 3) on the PS2 was good. Ratchet and Clank 3 is an excellent game, and Deadlock was horrendous. There's Okami, the Disgaea games, and also Silent Hill 2. Resident Evil 4's on PS2 I think.. Shadow of the Colossus is truly one of the best games I've played on a PS2, although I wouldn't get it now seeing as how there's an HD release coming soon. I would suggest, if your going there on a weekend, to take the ferry to Caja de Muerto. It's a pristine little island off the coast of Ponce. You take the ferry from La Guancha (the docks) which has restaurants, shops, pelicans and huge fish that you can feed. Complicated dating/boyfriend situation, advice please!?

I'm in my late 20's and I recently started dating my college boyfriend again about a year ago. We have always been friends, have known each other for years and have dated on and off. We split up after school because of the distance and now he is working in another country until January. We are trying to make it work but I only get to see him every couple of months and being alone all the time is really starting to wear on me. He has offered the option of my moving to the country he is working in but that would require me dropping pretty much my whole life in the U.S. (leave my apartment, quit my job, put my stuff in storage, give my parents my dog, etc) and depending on him financially once I'm there because I wouldn't be able to work without a visa. First things first, do not EVER buy single cards straight up.....you get ripped of. Always trade for the sh*t you need. Next, idk exactly what it is your trying to do here, but if you were to test this out against even a scrub, you'd get beat fast...just being honest. Listen: the best thing to do is have a theme. Pick an archtype(s) and stick with it/them...but i don't suggest mixing archetypes. And idk your knowledge of the game but i hope you know what an archetype is. It's a group, or family of monsters and support cards for those monsters that all work together and help eachother out (i.e. gravekeepers, frogs, lightsworns, six samurais/shiens, x-sabers etc.) So, if lets say you do want to make a deck of warriors...thats great! But, what KIND of warriors would you like? Will you build....Gemini? Samurai? Elemental Hero? You see, there are many different things you can do with your deck, but all cards must work towards the same purpose. You must set your purpose for and within your deck. Another great tip: NEVER run more than 40 cards. Never. And ALWAYS have your side deck packed to the ends with 15 great situation cards. Anyways, back to the deck. All Im saying is, clear the slate and start over. My advice would be to do reasearch on tier 1 decks and see why theyre great and why they win. I personally run gravekeepers as my main deck because I love the archetype, and love their theme (slow, somtimes fast control with great draw power and searching and destruction of cards, some hand advantage and/or field swarm). I hope my advice to you is taken in a way that will greatly impact your future games and strategies....Superb luck making decks and have fun out there :D

Okay, so I just pretty much got the offer of a lifetime. I was asked by a band that is HUGE locally and has a bit of national attention as well, to join as their vocalist (growls/screams.) What are the laws concerning using others songs for a local EP?

Don't think the rules about covers are that big a deal. Don't think they were serious but Silverstein at Download on Sunday covered a song by American Nightmare and said htere was a "10 Year Rule" where they could only cover songs that were at least 10 years old, and they song was godo by one day. I would consult your label about it though, they should know if it's OK or not. I don't think covers are too big an issue as long as you give adequate songwriting credit to the original artists, samples are more of an issue (look at the issue between the Rolling Stones and The Verve over Bittersweet Symphony).

I have 3 guinea pigs and I seem to have picked 3 with the most problems in the world. The problem with this is, I live in Knoxville, TN and there is literally no exotic vet to be found. Anyway, he seems to have mites or some other skin condition because he is plucking out the hair on both of his thighs. UniBlu Powersuite making my game resolutions weird?

i installed the UniBlu powersuite yesterday and everything was running perfectly. this morning when i turned on my computer, i went to play some GTA san andreas and my screen was a lot smaller than usual (i have a wide screen monitor and it was cutting a quarter of the screen off from the left side and the right side). the game looked stretched out and when i went into the display settings to change resolution and set the game to "widescreen--on", it changed nothing and the game stayed the same. the same thing is true for when i went to play combat arms. any way to fix this? is it UniBlu's fault that this happened?

It means that those places specially in the South West have Spanish roots, something to be proud of, those places have a history that often is not found in traditional American history books, sometimes is easier to find the history of those places before they become part of the USA in Mexico or Spain or maybe the Caribbean, but still very American nowadays. There is also a lot of french names in a lot of places that also I found interesting. Basically what they all tells you is that the land that now is the USA has roots in different cultures, the south west with Spain and Mexico, Florida with Spain, the mid west and far North East with France, the English in the east, and we have not to forget the native names all across the country, the original Americans.

I have been together with this girl who I love so much, for about 2 months. We will be together for two months on July 12th, 2011. Transferring from UT to FAMU?

I am a freshman at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. I've pretty much bombed my freshman year academically because I have been miserable here. I am wondering if I try to transfer to FAMU, will they automatically not accept me because my gpa may be below the minimum requirement at the end of the semester. I do not care about not getting the credits transferred, I just want to leave. My high school transcript is great along with ACT scores and involvement in leadership and community service during both high school and college. I am seeking out FAMU because of Animal Science,student life, and general hbcu experience.

Messed up in college please help?

I'm 18 years old (almost 19) and I'm enrolled in my local community College here in the Bay Area. I REALLLLLY want to get into UC Davis, or UC San Diego or UC LA....But the problem is, is that already the first two semesters that I have been in community college I have not gotten one A and have gotten two C's and the rest are all B's....That makes my GPA around a 2.6 or 7.....Now I'm in the summer semester taking Calc II....and I feel no motivation at all because I already know in the back of my mind that I ****** up with getting no A's and getting two C's...and the classes for my Computer Sci major are just going to get even hard from here on out....I mean is there any way I can redeem myself? is there a way to start over so that I can get better grades?..As far as I know C's neve go away...those classes can never be retaken again....Are people like me ****** for life from getting into a Good Uc school? just cause we messed up...means our mistakes stay on our record for life? People ******* change and I dont see why the system works that way...If I decide to go back to community college in say 10 years those 2 C's will still be there....

Yes, you can swim in the ocean but only in late spring, summer time, and early autumn. It's an excellent city for young people. Areas like La Jolla are pretty safe. San Diego is a huge place so there are some dangerous parts.

I want to go to University of Tennessee for my Bachelors, but...?

Basically I am a little stuck. Currently, I only have an Associates. I am 26 years old and am about to move to Knoxville. I will establish residence before applying, so I won't have to worry about paying out of state tuition. However, I plan on getting my Masters as well (I am going into English/Creative Writing) I definitely want to get my Master's from somewhere that is more prestigious than UT, but there aren't any schools in state that are better. I feel strongly about going to UT for my Bachelors, so I don't want to abandon that idea. What should I do? I want to have the path for my Master's planned out before I start, so should I go ahead for my Bachelors there and try and establish residence in another state for in-state tuition after? I would probably have to wait at least six months in other states. Would doing this be a big issue? I need suggestions!

At the moment I keep my two horses on my own property but I hate it. I don't have an arena or trainer or flat area to ride so its very difficult especially when trying to train two horses. They are very nice, expensive horses that are wasting away because I'm not showing them at all. I'm trying to move them to a boarding barn and I found the perfect one. Its the top Hunter/Jumper barn in Knoxville, so its veryyyy expensive. It would be $2200 a month for both my horses and that includes 3 lessons a week.
