Do you HAVE to live on campus in college?

Many universities automatically assume you will be paying for room and board, and i want to know if i must live on campus (whether the first year or all years) or if i can live where i want. I know it depends on the college, so i'm mainly looking at Belmont, University of Tennessee- Knoxville, Lipscomb, Trevecca, and Austin Peay.
