Tell me something about San Diego and California?

I used to live in San Diego, it's gorgeous the people there are so nice(: A bottle of water is usally around $1-$3. Yes, you can swim in the ocean but only in late spring, summer time, and early autumn. It's an excellent city for young people. Areas like La Jolla are pretty safe. San Diego is a huge place so there are some dangerous parts.
