Why do I get charged long distance to receive calls from my friend who I can call locally?
Bell has charged me $60 for receiving calls from a girl who lives a few streets away. Why does it do that when it is not long distance for me to call her? I called to ask them about it last bill when they charged me $30 for long distance and I had no idea why, and they didn't even bother explaining. They just said, "it was the towers". I want to call back and complain, but I don't know what to say. I don't understand why I can call her and it's local, yet I get charged an arm and a leg for her calling me.
